| Through books, film, television, and perhaps even more so, through oral history... Santa and Mrs. Claus are timeless characters we’ve all grown to know and love. With the Santa Series, we embrace these traditional stories. The North Pole is a perfectly fine place to live. Employing elves; having pet reindeer that fly; riding in sleighs; traveling the world and delivering gifts to children on Christmas Eve. All these things are wonderful! We felt it interesting however to expand the characters of Santa and Mrs. Claus a bit. Giving them a broader lifestyle...something beyond just bringing toys and serving cookies. So we asked the question, what else do Santa and Mrs. Claus do? Then we really started thinking....is it possible that regular moms and dads.... could there be some kind of connection here? While we continue to work out this mystery, let’s just say The Santa Series is about love - for the things we do, and especially about the love we have for each other. It’s what the Christmas Spirit is all about. To all of us Mr. and Mrs. You-Know-Who’s, and to all our children growing up - it’s not such a bad little thought to keep in mind 365 days a year! |
